Bigg Boss is an Indian television reality show which has received a lot of love from the Indian audience. The show which was initially broadcasted for the Hindi audience, quickly grew in popularity before being adapted for various regional audiences like Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. This year’s Telugu edition of Bigg Boss particularly received a lot of love from the audience considering the makers pulled off an ambitious production in the midst of a pandemic. Selected participants were quarantined for fourteen days in a hotel before being left in the Bigg Boss house for 105 days.
The show went on to become the highest watched television show as it bagged a record high TRP (Target Rating point) of 19.5 points. The show was successful because of the diverse personalities as well as the public who wanted engaging content to watch during the lockdown. Nagarjuna Akkineni being the show host also was a contributing factor for the high TRP ratings.

The finale episode which ran for four hours was the star of the season as Chiranjeevi Konidela and a slew of other Tollywood celebrities graced the show. Chiranjeevi Konidela was so impressed with the contestants that he offered Mehboob a role in his upcoming movie Acharya and told Divi he would like to act with her in his next film after Acharya.
Abijeet, Sohel and Akhil were the final three contestants and were the most entertaining housemates for this season. Abijeet eventually went on to be crowned as the winner of Bigg Boss Telugu Season 4 and became the talk of Tollywood.
