The most talented actor of the South, Veteran actor Kamal Haasan is celebrating his 66th birthday, today, on November 7. Since morning, fans and co-peers from the film industry have taken to social media to pour in wishes for the actor. Shruti Haasan, daughter of Kamal Haasan also shared a priceless throwback picture to wish her daddy on his birthday.
Shruti Haasan took to her Instagram handle and shared an adorable childhood picture with her dad Kamal Haasan. She is seen clinging on to him and holding him with her two little arms in the childhood picture. We can’t ignore but say, Kamal Haasan looks as handsome as always in the picture too. She wrote in the post, “Happy birthday to my Bapuji, Appa, daddy dearest @ikamalhaasan may this year be another memorable one in your library of splendid years 🖤 can’t wait to see all you have in store for the world (sic.)”
Kamal Haasan has starred in over 200 films across various languages in his illustrious career spanning over five decades. From a child actor to emerging as one of the best actors of the country, he has come a long way with many memorable films and roles to his credit like Apoorva Raagangal, Moondram Pirai, Nayakan, Hey Ram, Virumaandi, Dasavathaaram, Vishwaroopam and many others.
On the work front, Shruti Haasan is waiting for the release of her upcoming Telugu movie Krack, where she will star alongside Ravi Teja, which is directed by Gopichand Malineni. The Krack team has already resumed shooting and are expected to wrap up this month. In Tamil, she will be sharing the screen space with Vijay Sethupathi in the film Laabam. The film is directed by S.P. Jaganathan and is said to be based on the life of farmers.
