The pan Indian project Adipurush starring Prabhas in the direction of Bollywood director Om Raut is the most anticipated film of the Indian film industry. Post Baahubali, Prabhas movies are only getting bigger, just like his name and this latest scoop about his upcoming film Adipurush will blow your mind.
Adipurush, which is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar and Rajesh Nair, will be the biggest Indian film surpassing the Baahubali series. A source close to the project told an entertainment portal, “While many are slashing down budgets and cost of production, Om and Bhushan are dreaming big with Adipurush. It will be the biggest Indian film to release in theatres post-Covid-19. It will have a lot of VFX work involved and a technique never seen before in Indian films. They are planning to mount it on a lavish scale and a whopping budget of Rs 350-400 crore is set just for the shoot and production of Adipurush (sic.)”

Adipurush is an adaptation of the Indian epic which revolves around the triumph of good over evil. According to Hindu mythology, Lord Ram is also addressed as Adi Purusha. Prabhas is slated to play the role of Lord Ram and Saif Ali Khan will play Ravana. It is anticipated that Kiara Advani or Keerthy Suresh would play the role of Sita and MM Keeravani would be the music composer. The 3D extravaganza will have a humongous release with the film dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and several other foreign languages. The film is expected to release in theatres in 2022.
