Nani and Sudheer Babu will be appearing on the silver screen together for the first time in their career, for the thriller movie V. However, what makes it even better is Nani will be seen as an antagonist for the first time in his career. While the title V might elicit curiosity because of just one syllable, director Mohan Krishna Indraganti finally revealed the motive behind opting for the title as V.
Mohan Krishna said deciding to have just one letter as a title for the movie because it gave him the opportunity to create a signature for the serial killer who is at the core of the plot for the movie. Talking about the title Mohan Krishna said “The film deals with a character named Vishnu. Usually psychopaths leave a signature, right? I wanted some sort of a signature for the psychopath killer that would be a short stroke. The idea came to me much after completing the film (sic.)” Talking about the sudden inspiration to name the movie as V, Mohan Krishna said “The original film was completely different and was called ‘Bana’, which is an arrow. That was the original working title of the script but I wasn’t happy with it, so I suddenly thought why not call it with one letter which has a unique ring to it. It would also give me an opportunity to create a signature for the killer. That’s how V came out of nowhere (sic.)”
