Tamannaah Bhatia’s Parents Test Positive For COVID-19

It’s been 6 months since Coronavirus hit India and the cases are increasing rapidly with every passing day.  From commoners to celebrities, the virus has spread everywhere and has 3,239,096 positive cases in the country as of today.  An hour ago, popular actress Tamannaah Bhatia disclosed that her parents have tested positive for COVID-19.

Tamannaah Bhatia said her mother and father tested positive for COVID-19, however, she and her staff have tested negative.  Tamannaah took to her social media pages and shared a long note about it.  The note read, “My parents were showing mild COVID 19 symptoms over the weekend and, as a precautionary measure, everyone at home underwent tests immediately. The results have just come in, and unfortunately, my parents have tested positive. The necessary authorities have been updated of their situation and, we are complying with the precautionary guidelines.  The rest of the family members, including myself and the staff, have tested negative.  By the Grace of God, they are coping well and, all your prayers and blessings will put them on the road to recovery (sic.)”

Minutes after the actress shared the post, her friends from the film industry wished her family a speedy recovery. “Praying for their quick recovery… Take care dear Tam,” wrote Samantha Akkineni.  Kajal Aggarwal wrote in the comments, “Keeping aunty and uncle in my prayers and hoping for their speedy recovery.  Please take care Tammy, calling you (sic.)”

On the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia will next be seen in a new avatar as a Kabaddi coach in the sports drama Seetimaarr co starring Gopichand and Digangana Suryavanshi in the lead roles.  The actress will also be seen in the Telugu remake of the Bollywood movie, Queen, which is titled as That is Mahalakshmi, directed by Prashanth Varma. Tamannaah will also feature alongside Satya Dev for the Telugu remake of the popular Kannada film, Love Mocktail.
