Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next film temporarily titled NBK106 will be a grand spectacle and is being helmed by Boyapati Srinu. The Balakrishna-Boyapati Srinu combination earlier gave us hits like Simha (2010) and Legend (2014.) Fans of Balakrishna will definitely be hoping that a third time will be a charm and NBK106 would also turn out to be a hit.
Off late rumours about popular stand up comedian Naveen Polishetty doing a role in the Balakrishna starrer were doing rounds. However, a spokesperson Naveen Polishetty finally offered clarity on the rumour. “News that Naveen Polishetty is doing Balakrishna Boyapati film is not true. His next film is Jathi Rathnalu from the makers of Mahanati. Post production of the film has been halted due to the current corona crisis (sic.)”

Naveen Polishetty shot to fame with his debut movie Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya which is a comedy thriller. Naveen’s comedy and acting in the movie were praised by critics and audiences alike. He would be returning to the silver screen with Jathi Ratnalu being directed by Anudeep KV and has Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi as well in the lead roles.
NBK106 is being produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under his banner Dwaraka Creations. Nayanthara will play the role of the lead actress while S.S Thaman would be composing the music for NBK106. The regular shooting schedule for the Balakrishna starrer kicked off recently but however due to the lockdown, the schedule is put on hold for now till the government declares it is safe to resume normal work.
