Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen in an upcoming flick being directed by Boyapati Srinu. The movie is touted to be a grand spectacle and will have Balakrishna in never seen before avatars. The combination of Boyapati and Balakrishna gave us memorable blockbusters like Simha (2010) and Legend (2014.) Fans of Balakrishna will definitely be hoping that a third time will be a charm and NBK106 would also turn out to be a hit.
The shooting for NBK106 has begun in earnest but has been put on hold currently because of the national lockdown put in place by the Prime Minister in order to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus. With more and more cases slowly piling up, it is highly unlikely that the lockdown will be lifted but in fact may be extended.

There are rumours about Balakrishna playing a negative role in NBK106 and that his role may be that of an Aghora and the Balakrishna himself might be playing the role of the antagonist. However, that is not the case as latest reports indicate that Balakrishna’s role will in fact have a negative shade but only in the beginning and he would not be the antagonist. Boyapati has mentioned that Balakrishna will be seen in a never seen before avatar.
The story for NBK106 is said to be tailor made for the screen presence Balakrishna creates. NBK106 is being produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under his banner Dwaraka Creations. Nayanthara will play the role of the lead actress while S.S Thaman would be composing the music for NBK106.
