Nithiin and Rashmika Mandanna paired up for the first time for the romantic comedy entertainer Bheeshma which was directed by Venky Kudumula. The film did a good business and received more than exceeded expectations around the Telugu speaking states. So, the remake rights of the film have been in demand from the Bollywood film industry.
Looks like Karan Johar is totally into Telugu films these days. Previously he was keen into making a remake of two Vijay Deverakonda’s films Dear comrade and World Famous Lover. Now, according to sources, Bollywood director/producer Karan Johar’s home banner Dharma Productions has bagged the remake rights of the film and will be rolling out the Hindi version very soon. It seems that Karan Johar was very impressed by Bheeshma’s storyline, and as it has performed well at the box office proves even better things for a Hindi remake.

Though, the director and the cast and crew is not finalised yet. The Bheeshma Hindi remake will reportedly star Ranbir Kapoor as the male lead.
Karan Johar is currently producing Fighter and launching Vijay Deverakonda into the Bollywood industry . Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur are also producing which is Helmed by Puri Jagannadh and features Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey as the female lead.
