Allu Arjun recently announced his next project, which will also be the 20th film of his career. The movie, directed by Sukumar, is being called #AA20 till an official name is announced. #AA20 will see Allu Arjun in the lead role, while Rashmika Mandanna will be seen opposite Allu Arjun as the female lead. Filming for #AA20 began in January and Rashmika Mandanna commenced her shooting schedule from March 2020.
However the shooting for AA20 is facing unforeseen delays in its schedule. The entire world is trying to come into grips with the Novel Coronavirus outbreak which is infecting people at a rapid rate. With no cure for the disease in sight, the entire world is imposing citywide quarantines in order to identify and isolate positive cases to stop the spread of the disease.

The AA20 cast were supposed to visit Bangkok, Thailand to film a few scenes but the plan was put on hold as the Coronavirus was breaking out in the South East Asian countries and also due to airports being the most risky places due to contact with the Coronavirus. Sukumar decided to film the sequences in Kerala, India itself due to the delay and would instead use computer graphics for visual effects. But with Kerala seeing rise in the Coronavirus cases as well, and the local State Government taking quarantine measures, the filming schedule for AA20 once again took a hit for the second time.
Sukumar decided to call of the shoot and decided to wait till it is once again safe to resume filming operations. Many stars in Bollywood, Tollywood and other film industries are deciding to stay safe and avoid any international travel due to the Coronavirus epidemic. We will have to wait for an official news regarding when the shooting will resume for AA20.
