The Superstar Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi, which told the tale of rural India through the eyes of Rishi Kumar, created records all over India in collections, making it one of Mahesh Babu’s greatest hits after Bharat Ane Nenu.
Reports say, Maharshi collected Rs. 85.15 crores in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Vamshi Paidipally directorial also did good business in other southern states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and the rest of India, by grossing up to Rs. 13 crores of shares.
The icing on the cake is, worldwide, Maharshi plundered a share of Rs. 109.31 crores and a gross of Rs. 195 crores. Team Maharshi travelled extensively throughout Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with Mahesh Babu taking the lead. This worked as a positive boost for the film as a whole, helping in augmenting the gross collections.
Maharshi will definitely be remembered for a long time by the fans and admirers of Mahesh Babu.
