It’s a fact that Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi is eagerly awaited by his fans from the time the trailer was out on May 1st. Cine goers are eager to know the various dimensions of Mahesh Babu’s character, Rishi Kumar, as a millionaire entrepreneur, a messiah of the downtrodden and a man with the practicality of thought. News is, the pre climax press conference scene in Bharat Ane Nenu, where the character of Bharat picks up the cudgel at the media for focussing on trivial gossip instead of serious ground realities of society, is going to repeat in Maharshi’s pre climax episode as well.
Maharshi, which discusses the woes of farmers due to global warming and industrialisation, focusses on organic farming and its benefits. The Maharshi star is said to be elaborating on the reasons as to why the farming community remains what it is and what the government and other concerned authorities should do to change the plight of the farmers. This news raised the expectations from the movie, which are already sky high.
Maharshi is a joint venture of three production houses, namely Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema, owned by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt and Prasad. V Potluri. This movie is directed by Vamshi Paidipally and its music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
