Boney Kapoor, a noted film producer who is known for backing up some of the biggest projects in Bollywood such as Mr. India, Pukar and Kyun…! Ho Gaya Na, is now trying to make his mark in the South Indian market as well.
Badhaai Ho!, a movie which is grossing large collections at the box office, is now in the spotlight. The remake rights of this movie for all the South Indian languages were bought by Boney Kapoor at a very handsome price. The team of Badhaai Ho! is now planning to make this superhit movie in multiple South Indian languages.
Badhaai Ho! was jointly produced by Junglee Pictures and Chrome Pictures. Directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma, the maker of the superhit movie Tevar (a remake of Mahesh Babu’s Okkadu,) Badhaai Ho! has successfully completed 100 days at the box office. The makers of this movie are supremely happy with the kind of response it received from the audience.
Along with the remakes, Boney Kapoor’s hands are full as he is also producing Ajay Devgn’s upcoming flick, also directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma. This movie is a biopic based on the football player and coach Syed Abdul Rahim.
With such a tremendous success at the box office in Bollywood, here is hoping the remakes of Badhaai Ho! also receive a similar response.
