Where Is The Venkatalakshmi, a movie which piqued the interest of quite a number of people and movie critics, hit theatres today. Comedy horror is now becoming a widely practiced concept in the movie industry as it tends to create an emotion which leaves the audience in splits and at the same time, gives them jitters. Such a unique reaction tends to draw more and more audience to the theatres. Prema Katha Chitram, Geetanjali and Anando Brahma are a few such unique movies which made their mark in the industry. Story:

The story of Where Is The Venkatalakshmi revolves around two young men, Pandu and Chanti (Madhunandan and Praveen,) who live in a village. Their reputation preceeds them in the village and they are born trouble makers. In a parallel line, a cold blooded murder is committed in the village. The reason behind the murder and who committed it is unknown. Around the same time, Venkatalakshmi (Raai Laxmi) enters the village and Chanti and Pandu are stricken by her beauty. They keep moving around her house on some or the other pretext and try to grab her attention. However, they are in for a rude shock. Who is Venkatalakshmi? How is she connected to the murder? What do Chanti and Pandu do to help Venkatalakshmi? What are her concealed intentions? The answers to these questions form the essence of Where Is The Venkatalakshmi.

Performances:

• Raai Laxmi did a tremendous job in Where Is The Venkatalakshmi. Her expressions and body language are admirable.
• Praveen and Madhunandan played their part very well. As the lead actors and comedians, they switched between their roles according to the situation, which is commendable.

Positives:

• The storyline of Where Is The Venkatalakshmi is impressive.
• The background score and the music elevated the movie to a different level.
• The cinematography and the camerawork are simply impressive.

Negatives:

• The editing work on Where Is The Venkatalakshmi needed more attention. There are a couple of unnecessary scenes which weigh the movie down.
