Director Maruthi today said that the production journey of The Raja Saab is nearly over but for “a little talkie part and songs”.
Providing updates about the status of Prabhas’ romantic horror-comedy, Maruthi added that numerous CGI studios are involved in the project. “So far, the output received from a few studios is exciting. We are expecting the same from other studios. Once we start releasing the songs, they will entertain you. I am also waiting to show you guys our hard work,” Maruthi wrote, replying to a fan on X.
Maruthi, known for hits like Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy, added that the makers expect the CG output to be out soon. “Once those are verified, we will announce the release date. Many external things are involved in this process. It’s not a one-man endeavour or decision,” Maruthi wrote, urging the fans of Prabhas out there to exhibit a little patience.
The Raja Saab is produced by People Media Factory. Co-starring Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar, its music and production design are by Thaman and Rajeevan, respectively. Described as an “Entertainment Explosion”, the film will be released in multiple languages.
Prabhas will be featuring in Manchu Vishnu’s Kannappa in a cameo. Rudra is his character in the movie. Spirit, Salaar 2, and Fauji are among his other upcoming movies.
