Vishnu Manchu, who has been busily working on his most-awaited upcoming historic movie ‘Kannappa’, announced the teaser release date of ‘Kannappa’ on his X page. Team Kannappa had a unique opportunity to showcase Kannappa’s teaser for the audience at the Cannes Film Festival 2024.
Vishnu, who is on cloud nine after receiving splendid reports for the Kannappa teaser at the Cannes wrote, “We showcased the teaser of *Kannappa* here in Cannes, and it received an overwhelmingly positive response! International distributors, local Indians, and everyone who saw it absolutely loved it. I am excited and have butterflies in my stomach after witnessing such fantastic reactions.”
Vishnu, who is playing the titular role as Lord Shiva’s determined devotee in Kannappa vows to release the teaser on June 13, 2024. He also conveyed that some of his special fans and supporters will have a special screening for the teaser on May 30.
“For our audience in India, the teaser will be released worldwide on *13th June. On **30th May*, I will be showcasing the Telugu version of the teaser in Hyderabad at a popular theatre. This special screening is for a select audience who have been encouraging Kannappa throughout my journey and have been sending constant messages of support on Instagram and Twitter. My team will be reaching out to these special invitees”, Vishnu’s post reads.
“I can’t wait to share the world of Kannappa with you all”, he concluded.
It should be mentioned that Vishnu has been promoting the movie with all of his might. In addition, he had earlier written a comic book about Kannappa, which offered a sneak peek at the message he intended to deliver in this highly awaited movie.
Preity Mukundhan portrays the female lead, while most popular actors from all over India are to appear in significant roles in Kannappa. Pan-Indian star Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal, Akshay Kumar, Mohan Lal, and other noted actors will have major roles.
Mukesh Kumar Singh, the director of the Maha Bharat serial, is directing this fantasy action drama. Mohan Babu is financing this film on behalf of AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory. Mani Sharma and Stephen Devassy are writing the tunes.
