Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi’s rumoured collaboration with director Puri Jagannadh is now a reality. On the auspicious occasion of Ugadi, Puri Connects made the project official. Saying that the sensational collab is going to be electrifying, the banner stated that exciting updates will be rolled out in the coming weeks and months. The film, which is yet to be titled, will commence its production journey sometime in June this year.
“On this auspicious day of Ugadi. Embarking on an electrifying new chapter with a sensational collaboration,” Puri Connects stated. The makers described Vijay as a “powerhouse performer” who will be a part of their “masterpiece in all Indian languages”.

This pan-Indian movie will be released in multiple languages. The director himself is producing this one alongside Charmme Kaur. The duo have previously made iSmart Shankar, Double iSmart, Romantic, Liger, Mehbooba, among others.
The Viduthalai duology, Vikram, Master, Jawan (Hindi), and Maharaja are among Vijay Sethupathi‘s movies in recent years. The actor was catapulted to fame by his early Tamil movies such as Sundarapandian, Pizza and Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom. He has acted in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Uppena in Telugu.
