Vijay Deverakonda, who shot to national fame with the movie Arjun Reddy, is making his first foray into Bollywood with the film Fighter, directed by Puri Jagannadh. Arjun Reddy became so popular, it was remade in Bollywood as Kabir Singh and in Tamil as Adithya Varma.
Vijay Deverakonda will next be seen in World Famous Lover and Fighter. The Puri Jagannadh directorial is produced by Charmme Kaur, Puri Jagannadh and Karan Johar. Noted producer Karan Johar will present the movie in Hindi.

The shoot of the movie was kicked off in Mumbai earlier in January. The actors and crew wrapped up the first schedule and returned to Hyderabad on January 31st.
Fighter will see Vijay Deverakonda as a boxer, with the actor undergoing mixed martial arts training in Thailand for his role. Fighter will also see Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy as Vijay Deverakonda’s co stars. Taran Adarsh, a noted Bollywood analyst, shared a small video of the first shot on his Twitter handle.
