Vijay Deverakonda Makes Interesting Comments On Country’s Voting System

Vijay Deverakonda’s popularity got a rocket boost owing to the modern cult classic Arjun Reddy.  In just a short span, the actor hugely influenced the Telugu audience with his personal life, movies, fashion statements and off-screen antics.  Vijay Deverakonda, who is known for his carefree way of speaking, recently made some sensational views on democracy and the electoral system.

Speaking to an entertainment portal, Vijay said he doesn’t have the patience for making his entry into the political world. “The political system itself is someway not making sense.  I also don’t think everyone should be allowed to vote (sic.)” Interestingly, Vijay Deverakonda has acted in a political based film titled Nota, where he played the role of Chief Minister.

The Dear Comrade star added that the illegal process of voters being lured by cash handouts and bootleg liquor seems to be ridiculous.  He opinionated that the middle-class sector who has the most at stake, educated people and others, who won’t get swung by money should be allowed to vote.  “I won’t stand in an election where people will vote for cash, alcohol and other stuff.  Rather than this, I would opt for a benevolent dictatorship (sic.)”
