Vijay Deverakonda exhibits confidence during The Family Star pre-release event

At the lavish pre-release event of his next film “The Family Star,” which took place in Hyderabad yesterday, sensational actor Vijay Deverakonda gave a highly motivating speech. The pre-release event was a big success since Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, director Parasuram Petla, producer Dil Raju, and other crew members were there.

“My biggest hit to date is ‘Geetha Govindam,’ which came out in theaters six years ago. The film was made for Rs 100 crore. In those days, I was a relatively new actor. In my early years, I had back-to-back hits. In an interview during the “Pelli Choopulu” promotional campaign, I declared that my fantasy was to make a movie that would collect 100 crores. That dream came true with Geetha Govindam“.

“However, I later declared that I would make another film that would bring in 200 crores, but I was unable to pull that off. That aspiration still needs to come true. I was chastised for disclosing my 200 crore dream and advised not to make such extravagant claims. People tell me that announcing such things seems arrogant,” Vijay clarified.

“I believe confidence, not arrogance, is the cause. Why not me, if someone could achieve stardom? Why not you, if I could? Why not me, if someone else could make 200 crores with their film? “Why not you, if I could?” asked Vijay Deverakonda. As Vijay spoke in his well-known “Irone Vanchaala Enti” tone, the audience gave him an enthusiastic reception.

Directed by Parasuram Petla, The Family Star is all set to hit the screens on April 5. Starring Mrunal Thakur as the female lead opposite Vijay Deverakonda,The Family Star has its music composed by Gopi Sundar. Renowned producers Dil Raju and Shirish are behind the film, which is being released under his esteemed Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
