Today is the 100th birth anniversary of Late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Garu. He is the pride of Telugu states who have appeared in many mythological films and films of other genres. The actor has significance in the audiences by playing the roles of epic mythological characters like Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, Karna, Ravana and many others. Even today after a century of the black and white films he is remembered in these roles and celebrated. This year the month of May has been celebrated in the remembrance of the legendary actor by his family, celebrities, audiences, and the fans.
It has been a great honour to the Telugu people here in India and abroad to witness something great today. Today on the occasion of Sr NTR birth anniversary, there has been a display of the legendary roles played by him at the Top of Times Square in New York. This will be on display for 24 hours starting from 27th May mid night to 28th May mid night. Also, for every 4 minutes the pictures of Sr NTR will appear on screens for 15 seconds. This is the first time that a Telugite will be on the display of screens of Times Square with a huge size of 200 ft height and 36 ft width.
