It should be mentioned that SS Rajamouli, currently the most well-known director in India, helmed Baahubali 2 & RRR, which are ranked in the Top 2 Worldwide Day-1 collections.
Tollywood has produced six films that are among the top 10 global Day-1 collections, demonstrating its absolute dominance in the Indian cinematic industry.

Top 10 Worldwide Day-1 Collections:
Ram Charan, Jr. NTR & Alia Bhatt starrer “RRR” directed by SS Rajamouli tops the list with 223 Crore Day-1 Worldwide collections, followed by Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, & Rana Daggubati starrer “Baahubali 2”, directed by SS Rajamouli collected a whopping amount of 210 crores on Day-1 of its release.
“Kalki 2898 AD” has collected 191.5 Crores, while “Salaar” collected 178.7 Crores on Day-1, worldwide. “KGF 2” collected 160 crores, while Thalapathy Vijay’s “Leo” grabbed 148.5 Crores.
“Adipurush” collected 140 Crores, while Saaho made 130 crores on Day 1. Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” made 129.6 crores, Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal” collected 116 crores on Day 1.
