The Kashmir Files was awarded as the best feature film at the LIIFT Indian Awards 2022. The film was selected as the best film in the category of films made on human rights. We all know that The Kashmir Files is a film focused on the rights of the Kashmir pandits in the Kashmir region, particularly the right to live and equality. So The LIIFT Indian Awards (Awards for literature, illusion, film, frame, and TV & theatre) recognised and respected the film The Kashmir Files.

The Kashmir Files was produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and Zee Studios. Mithun Chakraborthy, Anupam Kher, and Darshan Kumar played the main roles in the film. Rohit Sharma composed the music for the film.
