The Ghost is an exciting action thriller starring Akkineni Nagarjuna as the lead actor. Praveen Sattaru is the director of the film. All the visuals of the film which have been seen so far from the trailers and the other promotional stuff look so unique and promise the Telugu audience a perfect action thriller from the duo of Nagarjuna and Praveen. The film is going to hit the screens in a few hours on the occasion of Dussehra, on October 5th.
Well, the lead actor, Nagarjuna, has a very tasteful past in this genre with the blockbuster movies Gaganam and Wild Dog. Will the king be able to repeat history and deliver the Telugu audience another worthy action thriller with The Ghost?

The Ghost is the story of Vikram, an ex-interpol officer who goes into the dark for years after making the underworld frightened of him for a brief period. The return of Vikram is intended to save his beloved family, including his sister and daughter-in-law, from some threat and danger. Who is chasing after Vikram’s family and how Vikram clears this operation in a clean and safe way with the help of his colleague and love of his life Priya is the film’s narrative, as evident from the trailer of The Ghost. The story of The Ghost looks solid with both the elements of action and emotion. The most important element to be noted here is that the film is expected to be a character-driven one.
Praveen Sattaru is the writer and director of the film The Ghost. This is the second project for Praveen Sattaru in his filmography and the first collaboration with King Nagarjuna. If we can go through Praveen Sattaru’s first movie, PSV Garuda Vega, we can see bits of action here and there in this spy film. They created a major impact on the film and impressed the audience. This time, in the film The Ghost, Praveen Sattaru took a few steps ahead and made the action much more intense. Also, Praveen Sattaru made good use of Nagarjuna’s intense acting. Praveen Sattaru has already promised the Telugu audience that he presented Nagarjuna in the best action avatar, and so the audience will be very much thrilled with the King’s screen presence. As per the promise made, the trailer and the action promos are very impressive and exciting. Well, the excitement needs to be held by us for just a few more hours.
Nagarjuna, our all beloved king, surprised us from time to time with his fine choice of characters and films. Nagarjuna earlier delivered two blockbuster action thrillers, Gaganam and Wild Dog, in the years 2011 and 2021. The characters suited Nagarjuna very well. Nagarjuna played a National Security Guard(NSG) major in Gaganam and a National Investigation Agency(NIA) officer in Wild Dog. Nagarjuna will now be seen as an interpol officer in the film The Ghost. So the character is a cakewalk for Nagarjuna. But the actor still chose to refine himself and give his best for the character. Nagarjuna took special training under some international stunt supervisors to present himself at his best in the action sequences. Nagarjuna trained for a month to use the guns and swords in a professional way. The result is what we saw in the official video of The Ghost, including The Killing Machine, Tamahagane, and Swords and Guns. Well, these are just samples of the intense king from The Ghost. The real action from Nagarjuna will be a special treat in the theatres.
Three technical departments need to be applauded for bringing out the best look for The Ghost. They are Mark K Robin’s background score; Dinesh and Kecha’s action choreography; and Mukesh’s cinematography. All these three technical aspects enhanced the film’s output in every possible way.
The Ghost’s intense and stylish action is all set to steal our hearts in a few hours. Let us hope that both Praveen Sattaru and Nagarjuna replicate their previous mark images in Telugu cinema with The Ghost.
