With the postponement of Radhe Shyam from the original release date of 14th January, 2022, the Telugu audience were disappointed to miss the grand visuals of the film on the big screen for Pongal. The makers of the film postponed the film due to the pandemic. The release date was not yet locked by the makers. They are planning to release the film once the spread of the virus variant gets stopped and the theatres are opened with full occupancy across India.
Meanwhile, there are many rumours across the social media platforms about the release of the film on OTT platforms. However, there was no update from the makers of the film about that. Also, it was evident from the sources that the makers are not interested in any OTT offer. Radhe Shyam will be released only in the theatres as a Pan-Indian film across India after the reopening of the theatres.
The same was clarified from the music director SS Thaman. He posted on his Twitter handle about the release of Radhe Shyam. “Radhe Shyam will be released only in theatres with all the grand visuals, grand sounds and grand making. I will watch with you all only in theatres with Dolby Atmos sound,” Thaman wrote on his Twitter. SS Thaman composed the background score for the film.

Radhe Shyam was directed by Radha Krishna and produced by Vamsi and Pramod under the banner of UV Creations. Prabhas and Pooja Hegde are the lead actors. Justin Prabhakaran composed the songs for the film. The film was shot both in Telugu and Hindi languages. The film is going to be released in multiple languages across India.
