Actor Sivakarthikeyan is doing a pan-Indian movie in collaboration with director AR Murugadoss currently. Madharasi is the title of the actor’s 23rd movie in southern Indian languages. In Hindi, it is titled Dil Madharasai. It is going to be a big-scale action drama.
The news is that the film will hit the screens on September 5th. “Between rage and redemption, stands one man,” wrote the makers, announcing the date.

The film seems to be about a gutsy individual who is in a pivotal position, acting as a barrier between these two opposing forces. A conflict between destructive anger and the possibility of salvation is what the film is thematically about.
The film’s Overseas release is going to be huge. PHARS Film has acquired the release rights.
Rukmini Vasanth is the female lead opposite Sivakarthikeyan. Vidyut Jammwal has been roped in as the chief villain. NV Prasad of Sri Lakshmi Movies is bankrolling the prestigious project. Also featuring Biju Menon, Shabeer Kallarakkal, and Vikranth, the film’s cinematography is done by Sudeep Elamon. Edited by Sreekar Prasad, the action direction is by Kevin Kumar. Production Design is by Arun Venjaramoodu. Costume Design is by Deepali Noor.
