Sarangapani Jathakam, directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under the banner of Sridevi Movies, has a new release date. The film hits the screens on April 25th.
Priyadarshi said, “There are a handful of positive messages in our movie. Talking about it at this point won’t be right. Be it Court or a movie like Sarangapani Jathakam, I go by the strength of the story. Horoscope-based predictions form a basis of the story. Do I believe in Astrology? To the extent that predictions boost my confidence, I do. I have listened to both accurate and incorrect predictions about my me. Some predictions said that I won’t ever become an actor. Had I listened to them, I wouldn’t be here today.”
Vennela Kishore said that working with Indraganti is like going on a Maldives vacation. “I had a fantastic time with the whole team. I hope you all liked the trailer,” the comedian added.

Roopa Koduvayur, a doctor by academic qualification, said that she became an actor because of her destiny. “Maybe, it was predestined in my horoscope,” she wondered. She jokingly described Vennela Kishore as her ‘guru’. She expressed confidence in Priyadarshi scoring his hat-trick hit.
Comedian Viva Harsha compared producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad with a principal and Indraganti with a lecturer.
Producer Krishna Prasad spoke about his previous two collaborations – Gentleman and Sammohanam – with Indraganti. The director stated that he hopes Sarangapani Jathakam becomes another Jathi Ratnalu in Priyadarshi’s career.
Artists like VK Naresh, Srinivas Vadlamani, Tanikella Bharani, Srinivas Avasarala and others have well-etched characters in the movie, the speakers said.
