Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Side A) Movie Details:

Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Side A) is the latest film of Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth, which was released in theaters today.  Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Side A) is the dubbed version of the recent Kannada superhit film Sapta Saagaradaache Ello (Side A.)  Rakshit Shetty relies on an intense role in this film after his emotional film 777 Charlie (2022,) which was a success at the box office.  

Hemanth M. Rao is the writer and director of Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Side A.) Rakshit Shetty is the producer of the film under the Paramvah Studios banner.  People Media Factory is releasing the film in Telugu.  Charan Raj is the music director.  Advaitha Gurumurthy is the cinematographer, while Sunil S. Bharadwaj and Hemanth M. Rao are the editors. 

Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Side A) has a lot of emotions in it with the lead roles, love story and their separation.  The trailer and the other promos reflected the same emotions, promising the audience an entertaining love saga.  Today, after the release, Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Side A) lives up to the promise and delivers a mixed dosage of emotions and action, layered with a strong love story.

Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Side A) Movie Plot:

Manu (Rakshit Shetty) and Priya (Rukmini Vasanth) share a deep love and aspire to build a home by the beach after tying the knot.  Manu earns a living as a driver, while Priya pursues a career in singing.  In order to fulfill Priya’s dream of a beachside house, Manu gets entangled in a wrongful criminal accusation.  Consequently, Manu finds himself behind bars, leaving Priya heartbroken.  The movie Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Side A) narrates the story of how Manu manages to get released from prison and reunite with Priya.  Will their love story ultimately get the happy ending they had dreamed of?

On Screen Performances:

Rakshit Shetty as Manu is the perfect casting for the role.  His emotions throughout the film on screen were solid be it love, the pain of separation.  The audience might well connect with him through his love and pain.  His performances in serious roles are something that is rarely witnessed on screen and they are quite satisfying for the audience.  Rakshit Shetty looks great in the heartbroken look.  His performance and dialogue delivery are pure perfection.  When it comes to acting emotional scenes, Rakshit Shetty aces them with no doubt.  

Rukmini Vasanth is the next perfect casting for the role of Priya.  Her appearance and performance look very impressive, with a perfect screen presence.  She is the perfect fit as the girl next door.  Her performance in emotional scenes has to be appreciated.

Off Screen Highlights:

Hemanth M. Rao is the writer and director of Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Side A.)  The core concept of the film is great and has been executed well on screen.  The filmmaker has done a great job of grabbing the attention of the audience with the emotions between the lead actors.  The filmmaker is successful in presenting the pain of separation between the two lovers.  He has well depicted the void during the time when the lead pair knows that they don’t have a future together.

The makers are planning to release the second part of the film, Sapta Saagaradaache Ello (Side B) on October 20, 2023.

Rakshit Shetty provided good production values for the film.  Credits go to the production house.

Charan Raj’s music and background score are very good at elevating the emotions of the film.

Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Side A) focuses on the pain of the separation between the lead roles played by Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth.  Hemanth M. Rao was successful in portraying the intense emotions.  Rakshit Shetty has to be appreciated for his well performanced role as Manu, making the audience connect with his pain.  Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati (Side A) is not just a conventional love story.  The love and pain experienced by the lead roles go beyond a normal love story.
