The Kannada director Prashanth Neel, who gained widespread recognition in India for his popular “KGF” series, most recently collaborated with Prabhas on the blockbuster hit “Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire,” one of the year’s (2023) biggest hits.
Prashanth Neel, who ascended swiftly in the list of India’s most popular directors, spoke on his all-time favorite director. During a recent Kannada talk show celebrating the 10th anniversary of his first film, Ugramm, Prashanth Neel gave high praise to Upendra, saying he was one of the most unique directors he had ever encountered.
“Upendra is my all-time favorite director. This isn’t what I’m saying because it’s a Kannada program. Three distinct genres are covered in his films, Shhh!, Tharle Nan Maga, and Om. It’s difficult for a director to manage such diversity, but Upendra succeeded.”
“Upendra is unmatched,” Prashanth Neel declared.
The ‘Salaar’ director also shared that his all-time favorite actor is Amitabh Bachchan, while he expressed his devotion to legendary late actress Sridevi.
Prashanth Neel has announced the sequel to ‘Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire’, which is titled ‘Salaar- Shouryanga Parvam’ with Prabhas.
