Versatile actor Vijay Sethupathi’s has collaborated with director Puri Jagannadh. The project was made official recently, on Ugadi. Puri Connects plans to commence the movie’s production journey sometime in June this year.
The news is that talented actress Tabu, who has acted in many Telugu and Hindi movies, is going to essay a prominent role in this untitled project. “She’s electric. She’s explosive. She’s THE TABU. Proudly welcoming THE GEM OF INDIAN CINEMA, Actress Tabu on-board for a ROLE as DYNAMIC as her presence in #PuriSethupathi (sic),” the makers wrote on social media.

Tabu, in recent times, has acted in Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, among other movies. Drishyam 2, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Bholaa, and Crew are her recent Hindi movies. The versatile artist has also acted in web series like Dune: Prophecy and A Suitable Boy.
The Puri-Sethupathi project will be a “masterpiece in all Indian languages”. This pan-Indian movie will be released in multiple languages. The director himself is producing this one alongside Charmme Kaur. The duo have previously made iSmart Shankar, Double iSmart, Romantic, Liger, Mehbooba, among others.
