As we all know, our all beloved Appu, Puneeth Rajkumar had passed away a few months back. James was his last film. Puneeth completed the shooting part and expired when the film was under post-production. The makers of the film later completed the works slowly and they announced that the film would be released on 17th March, 2022 as a memory of Puneeth on his birthday.
The makers of the film James released the teaser of the film on 11th February, 2022. The teaser shows the signs of the dark market and mafia world. Puneeth Rajkumar is seen in the power role as James who works in J Wings security agency. James goes against the crimes happening in the dark market.
The visuals in the teaser look rich and lavish. Also, the teaser shows very high octane action sequences. Puneeth looks stylish in the teaser. Sarat Kumar and Srikanth Meka are seen in some prominent roles. It is also evident from the sources that Puneeth’s brothers Shiva Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar can be seen in the film.

James is written and directed by Chethan Kumar. Kishore Pathikonda produced the film under the banner of Kishore Productions. Niharika Entertainment is presenting the film in Telugu. The film stars Priya Anand as the lead actress alongside Puneeth. Charan Raj composed the music for the film.
