Power Star Pawan Kalyan was on a sabbatical from acting to pursue his political ambitions and even contested the recently held elections. The Kushi actor announced his return to acting after a hiatus by signing three films, one of which is the remake of the Bollywood movie Pink. This Hindi movie starred Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. The Telugu remake, temporarily being referred to as #PSPK26, officially has a release date now.
The untitled movie will be released in theaters on May 15th, 2020, while the official title will be revealed on Ugadi (March 25th,) much to the joy of Pawan Kalyan’s fans. This movie will mark the return of Pawan Kalyan to the silver screens after a long gap. Dil Raju will produce the movie, while Venu Sriram was roped in to direct it. The in-form S. Thaman will compose the music for this untitled movie.

News has it Darbar actress Nivetha Thomas will play a pivotal role in this movie, while Ananya Nagalla of Mallesham fame will be seen playing another key role. Pink was a massive hit in Bollywood and was much appreciated by the audience for its subject. Pink was already remade in Tamil as Nerkonda Paarvai and featured Ajith in the lead role.
It will be interesting to see what the title of the Telugu remake of Pink, starring Pawan Kalyan, will be.
