HIT 3, directed by Dr. Sailesh Kolanu, will hit the screens on May 1st. Produced by Wall Poster Cinema and Unanimous Productions, the action drama has Natural Star Nani as a ruthless cop. Speaking about the movie, Nani stated that HIT 3 is not a sequel to HIT 2, just as HIT 2 was not a sequel to HIT: The First Case. The HIT-verse, he assured, grows in size and span with the third edition.
Excerpts from Nani’s interaction:
The grammar of HIT 3 is different from the first two parts of the HIT franchise. The story is about the ‘how’ of it, not the ‘who’ of it.
Chaganti Koteswara Rao (orator and scholar) garu dubbed the sermon for our movie. We met him and narrated the context of what he says in the sermon.
An actor should do what he genuinely believes in. HIT 3 is going to receive A certificate from the CBFC. As a responsible actor, I have said that children should stay away from this movie. Dasara had extreme violence; the movie became a blockbuster. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, too, had violence. HIT 3 dials up the violence quotient. The audience always expect me to do better each time.
You won’t be reminded of other violent films while watching HIT 3.
Lee Whittaker, who has worked on Baahubali, Vishwaroopam and several Hollywood films, has worked on HIT 3. He worked closely with Sailesh Kolanu for the stunts. Before the shoot began, he and his assistants meticulously planned every single shot. Thanks to the detailed planning, the execution could be cracked fast.
