Kalatapaswi Kasinadhuni Viswanath Garu was one of the greatest film directors and writers the Telugu film industry has seen. He passed away recently at the age of 92 on February 2, 2023, in Hyderabad due to age-related issues. This was a devastating loss for both the family and the film industry.
It’s only been 24 days since he passed away, and his family has now faced another huge loss. K. Viswanath’s spouse, Jaya Lakshmi Viswanath Garu, passed away on the 26th of this month. She was living with her family in Hyderabad and is said to be suffering from some ailment. She wasn’t in good health for a long period, and her health deteriorated even more after the demise of her husband. Her family took her to a private hospital in Jubilee Hills, where she breathed her last at the age of 86.
Viswanath Garu worked with many artists and delivered the best hits for the industry, which represented culture and the arts. The couple K. Viswanath Garu and Jaya Lakshmi Garu had three children: Ravindranath Viswanath, Nagendranath Viswanath, and a daughter, Padmavathi Viswanath. They had many relatives in the industry, including late singers S.P. Balasubramanyam Garu, Sailaja and artist Chandra Mohan.
