Actor Sharwanand, who has so far allured Telugu audiences with his distinctive roles, has come up with yet another family entertainer titled Manamey. Starring ‘Uppena’ actress Krithi Shetty as the female lead, it promises drama and entertainment.
Directed by Sriram Adittya, who has experience directing films such as Bhale Manchi Roju, Shamantakamani, Devadas, and Hero, Manamey is touted to be a new-age family drama.
Manamey also features Rahul Ramakrishna, Vennela Kishore, Seerat Kapoor, Ayesha Khan, Rahul Ravindran, and Sudharshan in pivotal roles. Popular music director Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the music, while TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory is the producer of Manamey, and Vivek Kuchibhotla is a co-producer.

Manamey Story Line:
Despite not being a very unique template, Manamey is presented in a novel and enticing way. Together, Vikram (Sharwanand) and Subhadra (Krithi Shetty) take in their friend’s child who has lost both of his parents.
The rest of the tale focuses on the challenges the duo experiences as a result of having diametrically opposed worldviews and how they work together to foster the child.
On-screen Performances:
Sharwanand’s acting as a free-spirited personality looks perfect. His acting is flawlessly complemented by his clothes and body language,
making him an excellent fit for the character of Vikram. He gives even the most boring scenarios a dynamic on-screen presence.
Actress Krithi Shetty not only captivates with her looks but also delivers an impressive performance.
Seerat Kapoor, Shiva Kandukuri, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, and others justify their roles.
Technical Aspects:
Sriram Adittya, the film’s director, has managed to weave an opulent family drama out of an unremarkable plot.
The right placement of sharp jokes and emotions has dished out the screenplay well.
Hesham Abdul Wahab’s music is one of the highlights of the movie, with soulful melodies in the backdrop of some important scenes.
With rich visuals and picturesque London backdrops, the cinematographers Nana Shekar VS, Vishnu Sarma, and art director Jonny Shaik deserve much appreciation.
People Media Factory’s production values are good.
End-note: Manamey is a breezy family entertainer with good music and absolutely stunning visuals. Sharwanand and Krithi’s on-screen combo, timely-placed comedy track, and other entertainment aspects clicked well.
