MAD Square is fast approaching the Rs 100 Cr figure. It is just twenty-five crores away from hitting the sensational club.
The comedy entertainer, since its theatrical release on March 28th, has raked in Rs 74 Cr at the worldwide box office. The stated figure is in Gross terms.

The success of the movie has come on the back of the non-stop comedy tracks, powered in equal measure by the lead performances as well as that of the Sunil-Muralidhar Goud duo. Kalyan Shankar is on a hat-trick as a director after the back-to-back successes of MAD and MAD Square.
What is the film about? Laddu (Vishnu Oi) has been lodged in a jail. When his fellow prisoners prod him narrate how he ended up in a soup, he tells the story of his spoiled wedding because of his college friends: Manoj (Ram Nithin), Ashok (Narne Nithiin), and Damodhar aka DD (Sangeeth Sobhan). After his bride eloped in a quirky turn of events, the four friends jetted off to Goa, only to find themselves ensnared in a burglary. Bhai (Sunil), a comical don, was after them. How did the friends bail themselves out of the self-inflicted weird situation?
