Actress Kajal Aggarwal, who has been in South Indian films for over ten years, is soon to be in two major motion pictures: Indian 2 and Satyabhama. The ‘Darling’ actress has been flying under the media’s attention due to back-to-back promotions.
In a recent interview, Kajal Aggarwal talked about how difficult it would be to go back to work after becoming a mother and how she would suffer while filming Indian 2. During her candid talks, Kajal spoke her heart out, indicating that she has been through a lot of struggles during the first month of her child’s birth.
Kajal talked about how difficult it was for her to travel to Tirupati while having a newborn and how, just two months after giving birth, she was back on the sets of Shankar’s Indian 2, which starred Kamal Haasan.
Even though Kajal was really happy with her job as a working mother, she did experience anxiety problems. According to Kajal, she had to attend counseling in order to overcome her fear of being apart from her family in the early days after giving birth to her son.
Kajal spoke openly about her mental health issues, saying, “You feel horrible, uncomfortable, frightened, scared, apprehensive, and all of it in double intensity. When it was safe to do so, I took antidepressants and attended therapy to deal with it.”
After I got married, not much changed, but becoming a mother altered me. Having a child is difficult. However, my family is my top priority; everything else comes second. No matter how busy I am, my husband Gautam can always get in touch with me. I have stuck to that since the beginning,” she continued.
The Magadheera actress also revealed that she had a brief time when she would simply sob and vent out her anger and anxiety with her husband Gautham. “He would always be there even when he didn’t understand why I was upset. He understood my separation anxiety and that is how I tried to get back to normal”.
Kajal Aggarwal plays an important role in Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, which is currently preparing for its massive global release on July 12. On the other hand, her female-centric cop thriller Satya Bhama is all set for its huge release on June 7.
