Karthi starrer Kaithi, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is a widely praised Tamil film. It locked horns with Thalapathy Vijay’s Bigil but still became a successful film at the box office. Presently, as per the media reports, Karthi and Director Lokesh Kanagaraj are yet again planning to join hands to make a sequel to this film. According to the latest reports, the sequel of Kaithi is on the cards. This news has made a gigantic buzz on social media as Kaithi was praised by audiences and critics alike.
Karthi will be next seen in Mani Ratnam’s most anticipated film Ponniyin Selvan. Since Ponniyin Selvan has a lot of war sequences that can’t be shot during the pandemic circumstance, the makers will not resume shooting anytime soon. The shooting of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next film with Rajinikanth, titled Annaatthe has almost been completed. Reports state Karthi and Lokesh Kanagaraj are planning to utilize this opportunity to begin their next film.
Kaithi is a story about an ex convict, who endeavors to meet his daughter for the first time after leaving prison. The first part left many unanswered questions which shall be explained in the sequel of Kaithi.
