October 1st is when Dhanush’s Idli Kadai is going to hit the screens. Actor-director Dhanush himself made the release date of his movie official today.
In the latest poster, the versatile Tamil hero is dressed in a traditional outfit, wearing a white shirt paired with a dark shawl draped over his shoulder. His pose is cheerful, with one hand raised in a gesture that suggests triumph, while the other hand rests on his hip. The background shows a crowd of people, some holding what appear to be celebratory items, with confetti falling around. The festive atmosphere finds a match in the actor’s expression and body language that convey a sense of joy and connection with the crowd.

Staying connected to one’s roots is said to be a theme of the movie.
The film also features Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Arjun Reddy actress Shalini Pandey, Prakash Raj (to be soon seen in Siddu Jonnalagadda’s Jack) and Rajkiran.
Wunderbar Films (owned by Dhanush) and Dawn Pictures are bankrolling Idly Kadai. Music director GV Prakash Kumar and editor Prasanna GK, among others, are working on the movie.
Dhanush’s most recent directorial is Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, released in Telugu as Jaabilamma Neeku Antha Kopama.
