Macho Star Gopichand’s 33rd movie was made official today. Director Sankalp Reddy Ghazi and IB71 fame will be wielding the megaphone. The untitled movie will be produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi of Srinivasaa Silver Screen.
Announcing the project, the makers said that it is going to be a “historical epic” movie to be made on a “grand scale with a huge budget”. The movie will be unlike what both Gopichand and Sankalp have attempted before.

“The story is set in the 7th century. A less-known historical event is central to the narrative. Our film brings to light a forgotten chapter of Indian heritage,” the makers stated, suggesting that meticulous research has gone into writing the script to ensure that detailing and authenticity are not compromised.
Manikandhan S and Chinna are the film’s cinematographer and production designer, respectively. The action direction is by Prudhvi Master. Written by Suresh Babu and Prakash, the film’s music director’s name is yet to be made official.
Srinivasaa Silver Screen has previously produced Seetimaar with Gopichand in the lead. Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga last year was a hit. Skanda, The Warriorr, Custody, and U-Turn are among the banner’s other movies.
