The much-anticipated trailer of Sathyam Sundaram, starring Karthi and Aravind Swamy, has been officially launched. Directed by C Prem Kumar, best known for his work in 96, the film is a heartwarming family drama produced by Suriya and Jyothika under 2D Entertainment. The movie is slated for release on September 28th, with Asian Suresh Entertainment handling its distribution in Telugu states.
The trailer introduces Aravind Swamy as Arun, a man returning to his ancestral home after years. Though he holds deep affection for the place, Arun is haunted by unresolved issues from his past. In his hometown, he reconnects with his cousin, portrayed by Karthi, an innocent and lively small-town character. The bond between the two becomes central to the story, with a crucial moment unfolding when Karthi’s character asks a life-changing question, setting the stage for emotional revelations.
Govind Vasantha’s moving background score enhances the emotional weight of the trailer, while Mahendiran Jayaraju’s stunning cinematography captures the essence of the film’s rich, heartwarming visuals. Director C Prem Kumar skillfully blends the emotions, proving once again his mastery in handling sentimental stories. The editing, done by R Govindraj, further heightens the trailer’s impact.
With Aravind Swamy’s character leaning toward introspective calm and Karthi’s being loud and candid, their contrasting personalities promise both humorous and touching moments. Sathyam Sundaram is poised to offer a heartwarming and feel-good cinematic experience.
The movie also features Sri Divya, Swathi Konde, and Devadarshini in pivotal roles. As the release date approaches, expectations are high for this emotionally charged family entertainer.
Mark your calendars for September 28th!
