Yevade Subramanyam, the coming-of-age drama film directed by Nag Ashwin, is going to arrive at the cinemas on March 21st. It will be the 10th anniversary of the film.
Producers Priyanka Dutt, and Swapna Dutt have announced the re-release date of their breakout film. It’s because of this film’s success that Mahanati and Kalki 2898 AD were possible for Nag Ashwin and Vyjayanthi Movies.

Nani and Vijay Deverakonda (also a debutant like the director), Malavika Nair, and Ritu Varma played the lead roles in this one. Krishnam Raju, Nassar, and Kireeti Damaraju played supporting roles.
Originally released on 21 March 2015, the film was seen as a gutsy outing for the producers. Filming Yevade Subrahmanyam near the Himalayas was no joke. “To prepare for the shoot, director Nag Ashwin trained on an inclined treadmill for several months. Of the 33-person crew, only 27 completed the shoot, as several members were affected by altitude sickness and other ailments, requiring treatment in Kathmandu,” a Wikipedia entry about the movie says.
