An exclusive interview with Telugu Film Nagar features acclaimed Telugu filmmaker Vijay Bhaskar, who has contributed to the industry with films like Prarthana, Swayamvaram, Nuvve Kavali, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, Manmadhudu, and other well-known productions.
Speaking of several things, Vijay Bhaskar also recalled his experience working on the superhit movie ‘Swayamvaram’, starring Venu Thottempudi, Laya, Ali, Brahmaji, MS Narayana, and Venu Madhav.
Vijay Bhaskar said, “After my first movie ‘Prarthana’, it took me more than 7 years to grab a decent opportunity. Swayamvaram has a special place in my heart”.
Vijay Bhaskar expressed his joy at working with Swayamvaram by saying, “I was thrilled to work with the team.” The fact that both the heroine Laya and the hero Venu were newcomers to the industry worked in our favor. Since they were so sincere, we were able to shape them in the right way”
“Trivikram Srinivas, myself, and the other writers made sure that the scenarios we penned were original to us. That’s how we managed to pull it all together,” he remarked.
“I am very proud of my work for Swayamvaram”, Vijay Bhaskar stated.
Swayamvaram (1999) was written by Trivikram Srinivas, Directed by K Vijaya Bhaskar. The family entertainer has its music composed by Vandemataram Srinivas, while it was produced by Venkata Shyam Prasad under SP Entertainments.
