On June 27, Rebel Star Prabhas’ highly anticipated Sci-fi mythology Kalki 2898 AD, which is based on mythology, will be widely released worldwide. Even while the theatrical trailer’s release has raised expectations to an all-time high, other promotional material is also significantly contributing to the growing buzz.
The Indian epic The Mahabharata served as inspiration for director Nag Ashwin, who has already discussed the core concepts behind the plot of Kalki 2898 AD. In his explanation, Nag Ashwin added that he has always thought it intriguing to consider a Mahabharata sequel.
Nag Ashwin also continued to explain, “There is an open ending for some of the Mahabharata characters. There must be an end to all nine avatars of Vishnu and all four yugas, right? That is why I had a fascinating idea of having a sequel to the Mahabharata”.
While many people are talking about Nag Ashwin’s intriguing reasoning for choosing Kalki 2898 AD, some moviegoers are astonished that a Telugu director could even consider the prospect of incorporating such an intriguing concept into a film.
Prabhas will appear as ‘Bhairava’ in Kalki, while Amitabh Bachchan plays Aswatthama. Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Rajendra Prasad, Disha Patani, Brahmanandam, and others have fascinating roles in the movie.
