Megastar Chiranjeevi, who had a lavish reception from the Telangana government led by Revanth Reddy upon receiving the Padma Vibhushan, spoke during the function and expressed his gratitude.
Chiranjeevi continued his laudatory remarks about Revanth Reddy, praising him for his willingness to provide a helping hand in improving the film business. He also conveyed his desire for the friendly friendship to endure.
“We should be grateful to Revanth Reddy and his ministers for their decision to congratulate every Padma recipient. It feels like a sincere pat on the back,” Chiranjeevi said.
Revanth Reddy had recently revealed the Gaddar awards, and Chiranjeevi commented, “As actors, we get excited to be honored with such awards, that fill our hearts with more enthusiasm. We have all missed that kind of encouragement since the Nandi Awards have become part of our past. I’m grateful that Revanth Reddy and his cabinet announced their intention to revive the Awards Culture.”
“Gaddar is a revolutionary poet and singer, and we are all grateful for his remarkable impact on all the artists. If the Nandi awards are to be reinstituted in Gaddar’s honor, I will gladly accept,” Chiranjeevi remarked.
In a previous press conference, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy declared that the Nandi Awards would once again be given out to recognize artists and academics in memory of the late revolutionary vocalist Gaddar.
