The official motion picture of Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is out. The movie makers also announced that the fantasy superhero movie is releasing in theatres on 9th September 2022 in five Indian languages including Telugu. The films will also be available in 3D.
Ranbir Kapur’s look as Shiva in the motion picture is fierce and all powerful. He is said to be a man with supernatural powers. The video gives us a glimpse of Shiva’s world, where he is heard saying to Alia’s character “Something is happening in the universe, that is out of the grasping capacity of normal people.” Then Alia asks “How could you see all these? Who are you Shiva?”. Then Ranbir emerges as Shiva holding Lord Shiva’s weapon Trishula. Presently the motion poster will focus on Shiva. Then will come to Isha, Guruji, for which the audience had to wait a while, revealed the movie unit.
What is Brahmastra?
Brahmastra is a trilogy film franchise. This is the beginning of India’s first original universe – the Astraverse, claimed the movie makers. It is a new original cinematic universe set in the modern world, but inspired by deeply rooted concepts and tales of Indian mythology. This is an epic storytelling of fantasy, adventure, good vs evil, love and hope. These all elements picturised using cutting edge technology and never-seen-before visual spectacles.
Starring Nagarjuna Akkineni, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Mouni Roy, Brahmastra is directed by Ayan Mukerji. Another highlight of Brahmastra is Bahubali maker SS Rajamouli presenting the film in South Indian languages Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada in addition to the Telugu version. The huge budgeted film is produced by Fox Star Studios in association with Dharma Productions, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures. The music is being composed by Pritam.
The director said he had been nurturing the idea of Brahmastra since 2011, after his 2009 debut with Wake Up Sid, when he visited the Himalayas. He deep dived into fleshing out Brahmastra soon after his blockbuster Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
