The Bigg Boss Telugu season 5 has entered into the fourth week and the drama is only getting much more intense. The captaincy contender challenge has been going strong with three tasks being completed. Let us see what happens on Day 25 when the winners of the challenge will be revealed.
The episode started with contestants sitting by the dinner table. The thunder struck and Swetha Varma was the first to place her hand on the power room palm scanner. Anee master and Swetha were asked to select a couple as their competitors for the task and they selected Shanmukh and Siri. The task titled Chikkullo Chikkukoku was played in the garden area where two sets of 6 piles of different coloured long ropes were tangled. The contestants had to untangle the ropes and hook them to the similar coloured board. Anee master and Swetha Varma emerged victorious.
The captaincy contender challenge was then put to an end. Bigg Boss asked Jesse and RJ Kajal to calculate the final weights of the contestants and tally them. Top 3 couples were eligible for captaincy task i.e., Maanas, Sunny, Sreerama Chandra, Hamida, Swetha Varma and Anee Master. Sreerama Chandra and Maanas both lost the highest weight i.e., 6 kgs. Before they rejoiced, Bigg Boss revealed that only one contestant from the couple can participate in the captaincy task. The final nominated contestants were Sunny, Swetha and Sreerama Chandra.
The captaincy nominations titled Kathulatho Sahavasam had Sunny, Swetha and Sreerama Chandra wearing a thick waist belt. The remaining contestants had to stick a knife into the belt of the contestant who they feel is not deserving of the captaincy. Sunny was taken aback when Siri, Vishwa and others gave personal reasons like it was an elimination nomination. After a few surprise stabbings, Sreerama Chandra was declared the captain for this week as he had the least number of knives in his belt. Sreerama Chandra became the fourth captain of the house and there is a air of confidence around him unlike the previous captains.

The episode ended with the promo of tomorrow’s episode where the contestants were seen selecting best performer and worst performer of the week.
