Narappa
Due to the second wave of the virus, Narappa, the most awaited remake of Asuran in telugu got released on Amazon Prime Video. The film is about a poor man in a village making every possible effort to save his son and his family from the evil eyes of the landlords. Venkatesh shows his maturity of acting in playing this role. All his experience and the way of handling two different characters can be seen in one film. Priyamani and Raakhi gave solid performances. The rustic locations and visuals keep up to the standards of the original. The film was a perfect remake frame by frame without any changes. So watch Narappa if you did not watch Asuran.
Thimmarusu
Being the first release after the second wave, the film Thimmarusu had some expectations from the audience. The film shows the lawyers quest for truth in a case of indemnity where an innocent boy had been framed in a murder eight years. Satyadev played the role of a lawyer in a decent way. All the other actors were good too. The music from Sricharan perfectly fits the scenes. The mystery elements in the film were perfectly dealt with by the director Sharan. The climax is the best part of the film. The thrill factors could have been increased and the love track between the hero and heroine could have been avoided. On an endnote, the film serves a perfect murder mystery to the audience.
