Anthapuram, the remake of the 3rd installment of the film Aranmanai 3, directed by Sundar C hit the telugu screens today. The film is dubbed into Telugu by Ganga Entertainments.
Storyline:
Jyothi is haunted by an unknown spirit in her childhood. Years later, when the spirit starts haunting someone close to her, she decides to unearth the spirit`s connection with her family.

Synopsis:
A vengeful spirit uses all its powers to kill the protagonist Jyothi. Saravanan, a childhood friend of Jyothi and the electrician of the palace loves her and tries to save her from the evil spirit. An innocent mother, along with her newborn child were murdered by a cruel zamindar in that palace many years ago. The innocent lady turns into a ghost and haunts that palace. Why she picks Jyothi and how Jyothi escapes from the evil spirit is the rest of the story.
On-Screen Performances:
Raashi Khanna and Andrea Jeremiah are the perfect picks for their roles. They performed with so much ease. Sakshi Agarwal made her mark. Arya did justice in the screen time given to him. Yogi Babu and Vivek are the highlights of the film with their best performances in the hilarious scenes between them.
Off-Screen Highlights:
Writing is the major advantage for the film. The comedy scenes were written so well supporting the pace of the film. The supernatural elements presented with the VFX gives the best visual experience to the audience. The art department needs to be appreciated for the ambience and the feel they created around the story.
Overview:
The film Anthapuram provides the audience a few laughs in the first half and then it takes us into the story of a ghost in the second half. As the horror comedy genre is always a crazy combination, the film serves the same with the plot maintaining both the balance and the pace of the film.
