Aishwarya Lekshmi is gearing up for the release of the Malayalam-language horror-comedy, Hello Mummy. By any chance, does she want to get married and become a mom herself?
Opening up about the same, the Ponniyin Selvan actress recently stated that she won’t get married ever. Admittedly, she has seen too many “unhappy marriages” to want to realize her childhood dream of tying the knot at a famous Kerala temple. As things stand, nothing is more important to her than her “personal growth and freedom”.
“Most people I saw in marriages weren’t happy. They seemed to live with compromises, and few truly grew as individuals,” Times Now quoted the actress of Godse and Ammu as saying. “I don’t believe in the institution of marriage,” Aishwarya added, saying that the conclusion comes after thoroughly reflecting on the experiences of people around her.
Aishwarya Lekshmi made her acting debut in 2017. After the pandemic, she is getting to do big-ticket movies like the Ponniyin Selvan duology, Dulquer Salmaan’s King of Kotha, and Mani Ratnam-Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life. SDT18 in Telugu is also a major project in her filmography.
