In September 2024, Charming Star Sharwanand joined hands with filmmaker Sampath Nandi for his 38th movie. Produced by KK Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts, this prestigious venture is being made on a grand scale with high production values and advanced technical standards.
In his latest interview, Sampath Nandi has opened up about the movie. He made it official that real-life incidents form the basis of the story. “The film draws inspiration from actual events, adapting them into a fictional narrative set in a 1960s village along the Maharashtra–Adilabad border,” the director said.
This is not the first time that Sampath Nandi has based a film on true incidents. His Odela Railway Station (which he wrote) was based on a fictionalized real events. Its sequel, Odela 2, is coming out in theatres this Thursday (April 17th). The film stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Hebah Patel, Vassishta N Simha and Murali Sharma in key roles.
Coming back to Sharwa38, Sharwanand’s styling in the movie will be top-notch. Renowned stylists Aalim Hakim and Pattanam Rasheed have been onboarded. The Oke Oka Jeevitham actor is excited to start filming for it.
